Ready for an underwater voyage of discovery? Dive right in! Museon-Omniversum now presents Secrets of the Sea, a new and breathtaking large-screen film, narrated by Roos Eijmers.
Strange, spectacular and cute creatures
The enormous dome screen of Museon-Omniversum turns into a large, exotic underwater paradise. Some of the ocean's strangest and most spectacular creatures live here. From cute dwarf seahorses and smart squids to manta rays, tiger sharks and a coconut octopus. You'll come face to face with an amazing array of marine creatures you've never seen before. Secrets of the Sea shows the fascinating ways in which sea creatures interact with each other and their environment. Many marine animals depend on each other for survival and this film makes clear how important marine biodiversity is to keep our oceans healthy.
Wonders and mysteries
Secrets of the Sea was filmed in the Philippines, Mexico, Tahiti, Indonesia, Palau, Hawaii, California and other locations, and featuring more than 70 different marine species, the film reveals the many wonders and mysteries of the ocean world and shows the crucial importance of marine biodiversity to keep our oceans healthy. Watch it on the largest screen in the Netherlands!
Note for parents:
The first scene of Secrets of the Sea can be perceived as scary by young children, as it depicts predatory fish hunting prey, accompanied by exciting music. After this scene, however, the atmosphere changes and the film focuses on the cooperation of the inhabitants of the sea.
Our visitors rate this film with an 8.1!
